Trust & Data Use
How NeedQubit AI accesses, stores, and protects data from connected apps.
MINIMAL BY DEFAULT
When you connect a third-party app (Outlook, Teams, Zoom, Slack, etc.), NeedQubit only requests the minimum data scopes needed for the feature you're using — for example, calendar read access for scheduling help, not full mailbox access, unless you explicitly enable more.
What we collect
Only what you authorize during the connection process. Each provider's consent screen shows you exactly which permissions are requested before you approve anything.
Why we collect it
- To give the AI assistant relevant context from your connected tools when you ask it a question
- To power the specific feature you enabled (e.g. calendar lookups, meeting summaries)
- We do not use your connected data for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone
How it's stored
- Access tokens are encrypted at rest and never displayed in plain text after setup
- Synced content is stored in our private database, isolated per account
- We do not share your connected data with other users or third parties beyond what's needed to operate the integration itself
Your control
- Disconnect any integration at any time from Settings → Integrations — this immediately revokes our access token with the provider
- Request deletion of previously synced data at any time by emailing help@needqubit.com
- We retain synced data only as long as the integration stays connected, plus a limited grace period after disconnection, then it is deleted
For organizations (SSO / admin-approved access)
If your IT administrator approves NeedQubit for your organization, they can review and restrict the exact data scopes granted before any employee connects. We're happy to provide a data processing summary on request — contact help@needqubit.com.
